Jim specializes in tenant and buyer representation of office, flex, industrial and select retail categories. Since 2000 he has completed more than 300 commercial transactions totaling over $70,000,000 in excess of one million square feet of space, primarily in the Boulder and Broomfield County markets.
Jim is a Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) and the acting president of the Commercial Brokers of Boulder association. Prior to his involvement with Summit Commercial Brokers he was a senior broker with Gibbons-White, Inc. and The Colorado Group, Inc. Jim has his Masters in Journalism and Business from CU Boulder and a BA from The University of Iowa. He has lived in the Boulder area since 1983 and is a native of Iowa. Jim’s passions revolve around his family, bicycling, physical fitness, music, reading, writing and travel.
